There are two open and fully funded Ph.D. positions for highly motivated candidates interested in:
Large Scale Topology Optimization for Multiphysics and Multi-Objective Problems
Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM): Large Scale AM-integrated Topology Optimization considering Overhangs and in-situ Deformation.
Interested candidates should be experienced or willing to develop skills in any three of the following areas inclusive of Topology Optimization:
Additive Manufacturing Process/Constraint Modeling
Thermo-Mechanical and Thermo-Fluid Analysis
Finite Element Analysis
Python (preferable) or C++ programming
Experience using simulation and modeling tools (Comsol, Ansys, Abaqus, Solidworks, nTopology, Fusion 360 etc) is a bonus.
